Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. While Artistic Director of SSC she also served as the costume and set designer for the production, as well as composer/music director and text coach. Although she usually led from the acting group but in the final year of work alongside SSC King Lear, she took on the role of director and light designer.
